Damp Penetration Treatment
There are 3 main types:
Overhead, Lateral & Rising.
Overhead Damp Remedy:
Check and repair lead valley gutte, box valley gutter, tiles or slates, flashings, gutters & downpipes.
Lateral Damp Remedy:
Repoint external wall. Rerender. Check window frames where they meet reveal. Replaster internally forming vertical damp proof membrane.
Rising Damp Remedy:
Cut back plaster up to 1 metre minimum. Drill & inject damp proof course. Replaster.
